Welcome, and thank you for your interest in GitReviewed ("GitReviewed," "we," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding contract between you ("you," "User") and GitReviewed regarding your use of our website (www.gitreviewed.com), application, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Agreement
By accessing or using GitReviewed, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. By using the Service, you represent that:
- You meet these age and legal requirements.
- You have not previously been suspended or banned from using GitReviewed.
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use GitReviewed, you must register and connect your GitHub (or GitLab) account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us at support@gitreviewed.com.
Providing a GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT) is optional. If you do not provide a PAT, you can only review public repositories in read-only mode. For organization repositories, you will need admin approval to post comments. If you choose to provide a PAT, it is used solely to retrieve your pull requests and to post review comments on your behalf. We store your PAT securely using strong AES-256 encryption and strict access controls, and you can revoke it at any time in your GitHub settings.
Clerk cookies are strictly necessary for authentication and login. These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled if you wish to log in or use authenticated features. Clerk cookies do not store personally identifiable information by default. See Clerk's documentation for more details.
4. Service Description
GitReviewed is a developer tool that uses LLMs (large language models) to help you generate pull-request comments:
- GitReviewed connects to GitHub or GitLab repositories you authorize via OAuth.
- PR metadata and diffs ("Pull-Request Data") are streamed to our model provider (openai/gpt-4.1) for real-time generation.
- We do not persist your source code or diffs. Comments are posted via your personal access token.
